A grand siyum was celebrated by participants of a daily daf Shiur with a Melava Malka Motzei Shabbos in Crown Heights.
The shiur, begun 2 months ago, is taught by Rabbi Fishel Oster, a well-known magid shiur, and is joined by many in person as well as live via online audio and video.
Nearly 50 people joined for the Siyum of Maseches Brachos, which celebrated the great accomplishment of having completed the Masechta, learning together 60 dafim in the course of 2 months.
Rabbi Mordechai Gurary, Rov of Chevra Shas Shul, was the guest speaker, who inspired participants on the importance of daily Torah study.

Other speakers included Rabbi Fishel Oster, Rabbi Heppenheimer, Rabbi Rosenstein, Rabbi Rotban and Mr. Blumenfeld, an online participant from California.

Participants spoke about how much meaning and fulfillment the daily Shiur brings into their daily lives.
Speakers also remarked that it is very much appreciated that besides the daf gemoroh, Rabbi Oster also integrates Chassidus points from Sichos and Maamarim as well as Halacha of the Alter Rebbe that are related to the daily daf.
Participants were inspired and excited to start the new Mesechtas Shabbos, with many new online participants joining the start of the new mesechta.

In the spirit of Purim which the gemoroh says אורה זו תורה, the shiur will take place at its regular time on Purim morning at 7:45 am.
The Shiur takes place daily at at 466 Albany Ave., Sunday shiur is 8:15-9 am, M-F 7:45-8:30 am, Motzei Shabbos at 9:15 – 10 pm.
