The Chabad couple whose apartment was burned in a fire in the Ayers Court apartment complex in Teaneck, NJ, received the full support they needed within 12 hours since COLlive.com reported about it.
Newly married Chabad couple, Ari and Eliana Kasowitz (nee Hendler), moved into the apartment only a few months ago.
On Wednesday, they lost all of their possessions and were in need of funds to pay for basic furniture, clothing and seforim. The requested for support was posted late Thursday night and by Friday, the couple said the full amount needed was raised.
Here is their public letter:
Dear Friends,
We’re that couple. The ones whose Teaneck apartment was mostly destroyed in the fire on Wednesday.
We want to thank you so much for the love, support, and generosity you have shown us in the past 24 hours. We are at the point where we can start to rebuild our new home together. We are grateful to everyone who has helped us out in any way. Family, friends… people we know and people we may never meet. We are overwhelmed with gratitude coming from every angle. You guys are amazing. We can’t thank you enough.
Mi K’amcha Yisroel. Have a great Shabbos.
Ari & Eliana
