Police are still on the hunt for a man who robbed a Jewish woman in broad daylight near Montgomery Street and Troy Avenue in Crown Heights this week.
The incident occurred approximately 9 AM on Tuesday, when the perpetrator walked next to the victim and grabbed her purse out of her carriage. He then fled into the alleyway towards Schenectady Ave.
Shmira and police searched for the perpetrator, while police took the victim in a car to canvas as well. Unfortunately, he was not located.
Shmira patrol has released additional clearer footage of the man, in the hopes it will help identify him.
The perpetrator was described as a male black, approximately 20 years old, wearing a black hoodie and white shorts.
