Cheder Chabad Florida’s annual Yud-Tes Kislev Family Seudah brought families together for a spectacular evening celebrating the Chag HaGeulah. Parents, students, and staff gathered for a beautiful night that was one big farbrengen, filled with warmth and connection throughout the evening.
Emceed by Rabbi Zash Itkin, the Seudah featured beautiful student presentations that reflected weeks of dedicated preparation. The Kita Alef boys’ choir opened with the niggunim Keili Atah and Sheyibone Beis Hamikdash, their adorable voices setting the tone with chassidishe energy that touched everyone.
Students across different divisions shared their learning in creative and meaningful ways. A captivating Yud-Tes Kislev play brought the story to life. Elementary and High School girls created beautiful dioramas depicting the first 12 perakim Tanya that each class learned in preparation for Yud-Tes Kislev. The Mechina boys presented an engaging video D’var Torah on the maamar Mayim Rabim, reflecting the depth and enthusiasm they brought to preparing for this special day. Rabbi Yossi Sputz shared divrei chizuk that added inspiration and meaning to the celebration.
The community also joined together to celebrate the 40th birthday of Rabbi Aharon Matusof, Dean of Cheder Chabad. The joy was palpable as everyone shared heartfelt Mazel Tov, adding an extra layer of simcha to an already special evening.
The night concluded with spirited dancing and singing, delicious food, and a beautiful sense of achdus that lingered long after families headed home.
Throughout the day, all departments celebrated with beautiful learning, farbrengens, and davening—truly reliving this day and applying it to our lives today.
Our annual Yud-Tes Kislev Family Seudah once again reflected the vibrant ruach of Cheder Chabad—where Torah, Chassidus, Chinuch, and community come together in a truly meaningful way.
