About 1000 people attended the 3rd Chanukah On Ice at the world famous Trump-Wollman rink of Central Park, New York.
The Chabad Centers of the West Side, Upper East Side, West 60’s, Columbia, Beekman Sutton, Israel Center, Harlem, Riverdale, Washington Heights and Midtown, all participated in the event.
It was organized by Mrs. Sarah Alevsky.
The Ice Menorah was lit by Jay Susman a friend of Chabad, while the crowd waved their own glow-in-the-dark candles – after which the crowd enjoyed a lively performance by the acapella group “613”.
Participants enjoyed delicious food in the heated tent and skated to Jewish Music in the rink.
oh plus is that chavivah, or is it sombody else?
