The Crown Heights Softball league played the first two playoff games Tuesday evening at St. John’s Recreational Park in Crown Heights.
The ceremonial first pitch was thrown by newly elected Vaad Hakohol members Zaki Tamir, Fishel Brownstein and Yossi Hackner.
In game one, the Landmark Funding Red Heifers beat the COLlive Tribe 8-3 with the strong pitching and hitting of Danny Cole.
In game two the AWS Skullcaps edged the Printhouse Hammers 6-3.
On Thursday the series continues as the COLlive Tribe and the Printhouse Hammers try to even the series.

Nice to see the Vaad throw out the first pitch(es)
as zaki seems to be the only one of the threeO to proudly expose his tzitis, he will no doubt soon influence the other 2 members of the group to expose and be proud of their tzitis as well…
