Crowdfunding Campaign:
The most vicious, unprovoked attack shook the hearts and minds of our community.
Rabbi Shlomo Noginski, beloved and widely respected by everybody, suffered eight wounds resulted from a violent hate crime committed by Khaled Awad, a 24-year-old Egyptian from Brighton, MA.
For those who are unfamiliar, Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky lived a comfortable life in Israel, with his wife and 11 children, before moving to Boston motivated by his eager desire to help people, to enlighten them, advise, and bring the true Jewish values in other people’s lives.
Thus, he settled in a tiny rental apartment and since then devoted his life to what he perceived as his mission, helping people the best way he could – with educational programs, individual learning, etc., selflessly sacrificing everything for the sake and benefit of others.
If the attacker meant to stop him and silence forever, he got it all wrong.
Our community is coming together in solidarity against anti-Semitism and hate crime.
Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky will always have our back. Truth be told, he is still in critical condition struggling to get back to a healthy normal life.
We all wish him speedy recovery and like never before are fully determined to help him achieve his goals and his dream of opening a Jewish Educational Center in Brighton come true.
We pledge that for each of 8 wounds Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky’s body suffered, we will bring in 8 new young students. We will take them through complete Rabbinical training so that 8 new Rabbis will continue what Rabbi Shlomo Noginski has started. We pray that he fully recovers from this tragedy and successfully runs this Educational program. This Jewish Educational Center will also help local families organize on-line and on-site learning and individual consultations.
This is our resolute response to darkness and hate. We confront it with light, love, and peace.
We proudly announce that we have a sponsor who is matching all donations up to $500,000.
Be part of this movement. Help the dreams of Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky come true. Your generous donation serves a noble cause.
With your generous donation, we will purchase the building of our dreams that will serve as the educational center for Rabbi Shlomo to spread more light and dispel more darkness through his classes and programs.
Wow what a wonderful and inspiring response!!!
