As in previous years, the boys from Lubavotch boys school of London had a massive Chayos in saying Tehillim over Rosh Hashona.
There was a special chart with all the different time slots where it is possible to say tehilim over Yom Tov, given out to help boys keep a track on how much they said. The amount each year is getting higher and higher. One parent from a younger class commented, “my son said Tehillim for over 3 hours, word for word.”
The total from the school was over 20,000 minutes.
The boys were entered into a raffle depending on how long they said and the effort that they put into it.
A brand new Shofar was raffled for the younger classes, Gavriel Kahn from Kitta Vov won the shofar. For the older classes a set of daled minim was raffled, with Yosef Lubin Overlander winning.
A big thank you to world renowned Baal Tokea Reb Hershel Gorman for donating the shofar each year and Reb Yossi Potash for the set of daled minim.
