A month filled with spirituality, inspiration and memorable moments has come to a close Thursday night at a large chassidic farbrengen in Campus Chomesh in Crown Heights.
Thousands of Chabad yeshiva bochurim who spent Tishrei 5777 in New York, at 770 Eastern Parkway and the Rebbe’s Ohel, gathered to celebrate what they experienced and the lessons and memories they will be taking back with them.
Speakers included Rabbi Shmuel Mishulovin, Vaad Hatmimim Director Rabbi Tzvi Altein, Merkos Vice Chairman Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Port Washington, NY Shliach Rabbi Sholom Moshe Paltiel and Manchester Yeshiva Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Wohlberg.
Real Estate businessman Yossi Popack spoke on behalf of the donors, reminding the bochurim how fortunate they are for the opportunity to spend this month with the Rebbe, and encouraged them to increase in Ahavas Yisroel towards each other.
Special thanks was given to the donors of the month-long programming, meals and accommodations provided by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim organization.
Plaques of appreciation were presented to businessmen and donors Menachem Gurevich, Shlome Hershkop, Avrohom Lokshin, Nachman Lokshin, Sholom Laine, Shneur Minsky, Yossi Popack, Eliyahu Shlosberg, the Keren Meromim Foundation and Igud Hashluchim of Russia.
The evening concluded with the entire crowd breaking into joyous dancing accompanied by singing of cantor Tzvi Tzatzkes, who sang at the Rebbe’s farbrengens and during Kos Shel Bracha.
