After weeks of intensive preparation, the CHYE business plan competition has reached its final phase.
“We are really super excited about this competition, with our mission of inspiring new business development in our community and being a resource for all aspects of business startup and early stage development,” said Rabbi Yehoshua WerdeDirector of CHYE. “This competition has brought to the fore everything we are looking to accomplish.”
The competition has attracted the interest and attention of the entire Chabad community across North America, with 35 participants in 11 cities, Werde reports. “The ideas presented crossed the entire spectrum of business experience and are a real testament to the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of our community,” he says.
“It was no simple task choosing the finalists from so many excellent submissions, but after much deliberation we are proud to announce the 6 finalists that will present live next week at Wednesday’s live pitch session in the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights for a chance to win the grand prize of $20k in business services including $7500 in cash,” Werde announced.
