Through her original song, “Berditchever Boys”, audiences glimpse into the great mesiras nefesh that the previous generation of Lubavitchers had as they went to such lengths to ensure that the light of Torah and Chassidus were never extinguished in the slightest.
The song was inspired by a trip to mekomos hakedoshim in Russia and Ukraine, and written L’iluiy Nishmas Rabbi Aaron Eliezer Tzeitlin a”h, renown Shliach, Mashpia, teacher and trip guide.
“The message of “Berditchever Boys” encapsulates what we stand for as chassidim,” shares Leora. ” Learning from these brave heroes gives us strength to withstand the hardships of golus, bringing the geulah closer with our inspired actions.”
