R’ Avraham Chayo, patriarch of a large Lubavitch family in Buenos Aires, Argentina, passed away on Wednesday, 7 Nissan, 5780.
He was 94 years old.
A humble and truly G-d fearing man, he will always be remembered sitting at his place at the table with a Siddur or Tehillim in front of him.
He is survived by his children, Shimon Chayo, Shlomo Chayo, Gad Chayo, Zebulon Chayo, Yehuda Chayo, Gabriel Chayo of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Asher Chayo of Crown Heights, and his daughters Miriam Paim – S. Paulo, Brazil, Sara Zagury – Belem, Brazil, Rivka Katri– Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Leah Segal – Buenos Aires, Argentina and Rachel Lavian – Queens, NY, and grandchildren and and great-grandchildren, many of them Shluchim of the Rebbe all around the world.
