This Sunday, Yud Alef Nissan 5780, April 5, 2020 we’ll be marking the 118th birthday of the Rebbe.
At a Purim Farbrengen in 5732/1972, the Rebbe spoke about the preparations for his then upcoming 70th birthday – and even said what gift was preferred: “There are those who are preparing for my birthday… Now is the time to make clear that first and foremost the emphasis should be on areas of Torah, in both the revealed and inner dimensions of Torah.”
