A video has been released of an attack on a visibly Jewish cyclist by a group of teenagers in Prospect Park on Monday afternoon.
The man was attacked and robbed by a group of teenagers as he was riding his bike in the park.
At approximately 6:00 PM, the victim was riding his bike when teenagers blocked the bike lane with sticks. After he went around them, the group attacked him, leaving him semi-conscious and severely bruised before stealing his bike.
Crown Heights Shmira and the NYPD responded and searched for the suspects.

Are you kidding me. They do nothing to enforce the rules. These animals run through red lights with their vehicles. They beat people up in parks. They mug people on our streets. Its the wild wild east. Nypd is allowing these animals to do whatever they want. They will turn a blind eye when someone defends themself. He was minding his own business, during daylight hours, and he encountered an unusual situation (a trap in the bike lane, apparently set to make a bike fall over), and he seems to have respectfully tried to bypass the deliberately-set trap.
I’d say he WAS “aware of his surroundings.” You cannot plan for every quirky entrapment set-up that evil people devise.
