Marking 40 years since the Rebbe’s historic call in 5745 to strengthen the takanah of learning Rambam with grand siyumim upon the completion of each sefer, the bochurim of 770 once again rose to the occasion.
Coming off the powerful momentum of the Grand Siyum HaRambam held earlier this year in the Armory, the bochurim organized a spirited and serious celebration in honor of the completion of Sefer Nashim, which took place Monday.
The event was held in the upstairs small zal of 770, where bochurim gathered for a full seudah served in honor of the occasion. True to the Rebbe’s directive, the atmosphere reflected the joy and pride of Torah accomplishment.
Throughout the seudah, divrei Torah were shared focusing on the unique themes of Sefer Nashim and the importance of the Rambam’s daily study cycle. Bochurim also discussed practical strategies to promote the Rebbe’s takanah, sharing ideas to expand global awareness and participation in the daily learning and siyumim.
The event was generously sponsored l’ilui nishmas Harav Moshe Yehuda ben Tzvi Yosef Kotlarsky a”h, by Merkos 302 in partnership with the Kotlarsky family, to whom much gratitude is extended.
As the cycle of Rambam study continues, the bochurim of 770 are committed to ensuring that the Rebbe’s vision lives on with ever-growing enthusiasm, farbrengens, and siyumim—bringing the light of Torah to every corner of the world.
