A Hezbollah drone struck the Binyamina area in northern Israel, approximately 25 miles southeast of Haifa, on Sunday night, according to emergency medics.
At least 67 people were injured in the attack.
MDA reported that four people were critically wounded, five were seriously wounded, and 14 were moderately wounded.
The UAV was sent from Lebanon under the cover of a Hezbollah rocket barrage.
Three UAVs were launched toward Israel, with two shot down, but one of the UAVs penetrated deep into Israel, crashing in the Binyamina area. No warning sirens were activated, which the IDF will be probing.
Following the mass casualty incident in the Binyamina region, United Hatzalah paramedics Aviran Ashkenazi and Daniel Marcos, and EMTs Yechiel Stern, David Bader and Bashir Abu Ata reported: “With the help of United Hatzalah ambulance teams, we provided assistance to over 60 wounded people with varying degrees of injuries – critical, serious, moderate and mild.
