Friendship Circle International provides mishloach manos for volunteer alumni in colleges around the country, to reconnect and be introduced to their local chabad on campus.
For the third year running, Friendship Circle International has been reconnecting with volunteer alumni on college campuses via a free, personalized Friendship Circle mishloach manos package. Purim is the perfect time of year for them to reconnect, when merriment and high community spirit are the key elements of the holiday.
Over 200 packages, sponsored by a Friendship Circle volunteer alumni, were sent. Each Package providing the volunteer with thanks for their service to the community and encouragement that they take part in the Purim spirit and celebration in their new community, their local Chabad on Campus.
“Growing the circle of friendship and empowering our alumni to continue being leaders in their communities, spreads the message of friendship circle around the globe” said Sholom Simon, Director of Development at Friendship Circle International.
The core mission of the Friendship Circle is in providing lasting friendships for every soul. While volunteers may end their local volunteering while in college, their friendships do not end.
Purim is about unity, and what better way is there to celebrate then with an #FCInspiresMe Mishloach Manos?
the feedback from friendship circle alumni who have recieved these packages, has been overwelming:
“Thank you so much for the purim gift. It means a lot to me that Friendship Circle still thinks about me and I truly feel like I am a part of a special community. I hope all is well!
Thank You!”
