You’ve spoken about it at your Shabbos table. Your mother got a bit weirded out. Your sister thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. And you?
It’s been one year and we’ve got a lot to share. The good, the bad, and the unbelievable.
We had a simple vision. Make suggesting shidduchim so easy that you could do it without telling anyone.
We called it Anonymous Shadchan.
So how did it go? Let the numbers speak for themselves. Over one thousand suggestions were submitted. That’s one thousand ideas that might have otherwise stayed quietly sitting in someone’s head.
People ask us all the time. How many dates did you make? How many engagements? How many marriages?
The truth is… we don’t really know. Because that’s not our mission. Of course, technically it’s part of it. But not the main focus.
Our real goal is to have the minds of every bochur and every girl constantly thinking of shidduchim. For their friends. For their neighbors. For anyone.
We never want a shidduch idea to pop into someone’s head and disappear five seconds later because they’re thinking, “Who should I tell? I don’t know a shadchan. I’m not calling his or her mom. That’s too uncomfortable.”
We get it. That’s why we made it so no one ever has to feel unsure or awkward about suggesting a shidduch.
The feedback we received says it all. From, “Wow, I’ve been waiting for something like this” to “I’m crying, thank you… my daughter hasn’t received a suggestion in months.”
Bottom line? There have been more shidduchim suggested this year than probably ever before.
So who is Anonymous Shadchan?
It’s YOU. Anonymous Shadchan is not one person. It’s everyone. You are the Anonymous Shadchan. We’re just the invisible middle, quietly passing the data along. And the power we all hold together is remarkable.
Now for the updates.
1. Contact details
Our biggest challenge has been tracking down contact information. We don’t want to change the original model—it will always stay simple. Two names are enough. But we are encouraging you to include any contact details you can. Taking just one extra minute could save us hours.
This is why some suggestions may never have been followed up on—we simply couldn’t identify the individuals.
2. Support our work
Because of the incredible success, we’ve grown. We now need staff to keep up with every name, every suggestion, every possibility that could lead to a bayis ne’eman b’Yisroel. So we’re reaching out to you.
Please consider supporting Anonymous Shadchan. You can do it in honor or in memory of someone, or as a zechus for someone finding their shidduch.
3. The $500 reward
To claim the $500 reward for making a shidduch, you must save the submission ID. If you forget to save the ID before submitting your suggestion, we have no way to confirm that you were the one who submitted the names.
So in short:
Try to give more info when you can.
Support this project and help it grow.
Always save your submission ID.

Who is running this
why doesn’t the person submitting it just directly ask the 2 people he wants to match, to their face??? that makes a lot more sense than involving other people and using the form?
People may not always feel comfortable to walk up to someone’s face and make a suggestion.. especially if you are not very close friends. I think this is a pretty cool way to circumvent that issue
You can use chabad match to check out or find contact info if it wasn’t given.
Honestly the best way to get more suggestions onto the streets! I’ve personally been sent multiple suggestions that wouldn’t have come up otherwise.
This is so special!!
Thank you for this wonderful and innovative platform.
We really appreciate the wonderful suggestions that you have sent.
this is one great way to do it. We wish you much Hatzlochoh in generating many shiduchim. May yhis be the year when everyone who needs will find their Richtigeh zivug
