The central farbrengen marking Yud Aleph Nissan 5773, the Rebbe’s 111th birthday, will be taking place Thursday night, 9:30 PM, at Campus Chomesh on Lefferts Avenue in Crown Heights.
Organized by Agudas Chassidei Chabad International, the chassidic gathering will being together rabbonim, mashpiim, shluchim, chassidim and bochurim.
Speaking will be highlighting how hiskashrus – connecting to the Rebbe – should be done today and how the Rebbe’s influence continues to shine as his new kapital in Tehillim suggests.
Those attending the farbrengen will be receiving a copy of the 1990 published hardcover album “One Hour. Forty Years,” which documented the first international Menorah lighting ceremony celebrating the Rebbe’s leadership.
Organizers specified that only yungeleit and chassidim (“one per family”) will be receiving it.
Businessman Chesky Kauftheil, who was involved in the production of this and other albums, has told COLlive how it came about in an interview two years ago.
