Adele Bitton, who was injured in a rock throwing attack in Israel’s Shomron 2 years ago, tragically passed away on Tuesday.
She was 4 years old.
Adele was critically injured after the vehicle her mother was driving was bombarded with rocks by Arabs near Ariel in Shomron. She lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a truck parked on the side of the road.
The attack left Adele in a comatose state, and after 18-months of operations and hospitalization, she was permitted to return home in August 2014.
On Sunday, a half year after being sent home, Adele slipped into critical condition in Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petach Tikvah with a severe of pneumonia, which led to systemic complications.
Her condition deteriorated rapidly until she passed away today.
