After 15 years of challenges and rejection, the Chabad of Bondi community led by Rabbi Yehoram and Rebbetzin Shternie Ulman, Shluchim of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, is celebrating the opening of its long-awaited new center.
This marks a significant moment not only for local Jews but for the broader global community. For nearly four decades, the center has been a place of spiritual guidance, support, and connection, helping Jews navigate the complexities of life and halachic matters. The new center is a symbol of resilience and growth, designed to bridge the generations by honoring the past and embracing the future. It will serve as a home for local Jews, particularly those from the former Soviet Union, while continuing to assist Jewish communities worldwide with halachic guidance.
This space will allow for the expansion of educational programs, fostering deeper connections to Torah and Jewish life.
While this opening is an exciting milestone, it comes with significant financial responsibilities. The center is now calling on supporters to help complete the final stages of completion and cover ongoing costs. By contributing, supporters will ensure the center becomes a beacon of Jewish learning, guidance, and connection, not just for Sydney, but for Jews across the globe. This center represents the next step in strengthening Jewish life, and with your help, it will continue to serve as a vital resource for generations to come.

The FREE Russian Jewish community center in Sydney are very lucky to have Rabbi and Rebitzen Ulman as it’s leaders.
What a beautiful day for the greater Jewish community at large to celebrate this wonderful milestone together.
