This Sunday, March 15 – 24 Adar, approximately 30 representatives from local and out-of town schools will be gathering in Crown Heights at the Menachem Education Foundation’s 3rd annual Chinuch Job Fair.
A wide range of positions in the educational field are being offered with a grand total of 94 available positions, and representatives are looking to meet exceptional candidates to fill these openings.
This is also an opportunity to find out about professional development for new and experienced teachers, opportunities for professional growth, and teaching resources brought to you by the event’s hosts.
“Now is great time to think about your career in Chinuch,” says Rabbi Zalman Shneur, the foundation’s director. “There is so much opportunity to make a difference.”
The Chinuch Job Fair is a recruiting and networking event where employers and recruiters from different schools have the opportunity to meet with prospective hires. Men and Women looking for a job can use this opportunity to meet with schools and hear more about the positions they have to offer.
Each school will have a table where participants can drop by, hear about the positions, and leave a resume or cover letter. Schools don’t hire at the job fair, but instead may hold, brief, informal interviews to be followed up on at a later point.
The Chinuch Job Fair is geared towards men and women working or looking to work within the field of education.
This event caters to those looking for a first-time position in Chinuch as well as those who are already involved in the field and want to advance their career, and for couples looking for Chinuch positions in Shlichus communities out of town.
separate hours for women and women.
Be sure to bring copies of your resume to leave with potential employers, who may follow up with you after the job fair if they are interested.
WHAT IF I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A JOB?
This is a networking opportunity not to be missed. In addition, this is an opportunity to get to know the job fair’s host, the Menachem Education Foundation – your source for opportunities for growth and development within the field of Chinuch.
