Two men were arrested Friday after attacking a Jewish man, shouting antisemitic slurs and violently smashing the victim’s car with a baseball bat in Crown Heights.
The incident occurred late Friday afternoon on Troy Avenue near Sterling Place when the men, one Black and one Hispanic, drove up behind the visibly Jewish driver, who was stuck behind a double-parked FedEx truck that was blocking traffic.
The men behind the Jewish driver’s car then got out of their car, one brandishing a baseball bat, and approached the Jewish victim. They began shouting antisemitic slurs at him and then attacked the Jewish man’s car with the baseball bat, causing extensive damage.
Bystanders called the police, who arrived and quickly arrested the driver and passenger attackers.
The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
It’s disgusting.
Good now they got arrested.
The victim’s needs to seriously press charges and not let go, they will learn.
When is all of the bias attacks that have been going on against religious Jews in Crown Heights over the past 60 years going to be publicized in its entirety on the mainstream media. Let the world know what is being done and the city’s responds by doing nothing except bring in more drug shelters to increase the crime.
The media specially today are the culprit and responsible for most of the negative and destruction taking place today and should be fully accountable on many levels
Most non-Jews are naturally antisemitic, thus no one real cares, so it probably won’t ever happen.
The only thing I’d say is maybe someone catches on and makes a documentary or something. IyH..
More than once Fox has reported on series of crimes in crown heights but not as a headline (I don’t think).

I am a non jew, and that is quite offensive, not to mention false.
“Naturally antisemitic” means just that, having a natural tendency towards it – which can, and often is, overcome with training. Same way as we might say that children are naturally self-centered, but their parents and teachers work to educate them out of that.
As a long time Crown Heights Jewish resident, I know thats not true. The problem is many live in their own silos on both sides and often don’t communicate so these are misperceptions when ppl in general don’t communicate.
Why does everyone hate the jews here and abroad. Thats the problem.
Press charges in federal court
Unfortunately New York State law is pro criminal
A hate crime, religion, constitutional right, civil rights etc. are a legitimate case in federal law
There was a poor atmosphere of fear and deterrence amongst these criminals
Federal law has the power to instill fear in criminal thugs
They will be right back on the streets thanks to no bail law
We need to get guns. If this happens GD forbid with your kids in the car you shoot these animals. After a few times they will get the message.
Down here they would have been neutralised either by the driver, a bystander or law enforcement
Under FL STATUE this is called aggravated assualt a Violent felony
Post the names, addresses and photos of the perps and make it SEO searchable on the internet
This won’t change until we have full gun rights. those idiots would have thought twice before trying this in a constitutional carry state, because they know there’s a much smaller chance they could get away with it without being neutralized by the lawfully carrying driver.
