this is what i wrote in my diary. Early in the evening I peeked into the Baal HaTanya Shul. There were very few women and lots of food. I would drop my packages, freshen up and come back. By the time I got back there were lots of women and almost no food. The women were far from modern. They were on the dowdy looking side.
