Extraordinary hachnasas orchim.
Also kept up spirits in soviet jail by playing chess with the inmates!

What a loss

This man was an incredible Chossid of the Rebbe, an amazing Baal Mesiras Nefesh, a brilliant Talmid Chochom in Nigleh, Chassidus, and Halochoh, and a wonderous approachable and humble person. He was also witty, humerous, and a sweet and gentle heart. This type of combination in a person is hardly ever found. Chaval Al D’avdin. This creates a massive hole in Lubavitch. Ad Mosai.

Rabbi Kotlarsky!

Wow! its amazing how you can fly to every occasion just to be there for the family.
Hashem should give you the Koach you need (and we need through you) and deserve.

What a sad levaya. Ppl from all streams of judaism standing lost. Not a dry eye when the elder brother reb hishke who shud live long & healthy broke down in tears by the coffin as he asked mechila from his younger brother!
You could just vision the mesirus nefesh the pain hardships that these brothers had gone through.

"mumeh sarahs" son

This man was “mumeh sarahs” son. Of I remember correctly he was given a bracha along with Muleh Motkin by the Rebbe that they would not lose any of their years, and they both BH raised a family. although 83 it is sad to see one of our greats go so early. He had many years ahead and his life was cut short!

in all my years I’ve never seen such a crowd at a Lubavitch levaya in London. Every walk of life. This tzadik was a true kiddush Lubavitch.

We love you what great memories we have of your father he was always a senior member of the community but we all the kids always felt so close to him. Whenever you went back to London he was one of the only ones we would visit and we all felt close to him
