Kitta Alef of Lubavitch Boy’s School in London enjoyed a special Tishrei Fair. With the help of Kitta Vov, they had an opportunity to do all the special Mitzvos of Tishrei with the right Brachos at different stalls. It was a hands-on experience and a good time was had by all!
Also, as in previous years the boys had a massive Chayos in saying Tehillim over Rosh Hashona.
There was a special chart with all the different time slots where it is possible to say tehilim over Yom Tov, given out to help boys keep a track on how much they said.
The response this year was the highest ever and some boys clocking in hundreds of minutes each, with Yossle Zavdi and Sholomke Gordon saying the most. One parent commented “my son basically had a tehillim in his hands the whole Rosh Hashona”.
The total from the school was over 10,000 minutes.
The boys were entered into a raffle depending on how long they said and the effort that they put into it. A brand new Shofar was raffled off. Yosrolik Kesselman from Kitta Vov won the shofar.
Go Tzemach Cohen for saying over 6 hours Tehillim over Rosh Hashonah! we’re so proud of you!!!
