The Creative Soul a – new group dedicated to promoting art and creativity in the Orthodox/Chassidic community – is proud to announce a group art show taking place in Crown Heights Brooklyn during the Sukkos Holiday.
A year ago a number of artists got together and held a group art show titled “Chassidim of Color” showcasing the art of chassidic artists.
The show was an immense success with large crowds coming through the gallery till four in the morning! The show brought together many artists who felt the need for a greater focus on creativity in the Chassidic community, and slowly the Creative Soul was born.
This year the Sukkos show is taking place again in an empty storefront at 425 Kingston Ave, Brooklyn NY. The show begins the first day of Choel Hamoed Sukkos, Wednesday October 3rd until Sunday, October 14th.
The community is invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, October 3rd at 8pm.
The Creative Soul is seeking submissions for the show. Artists who wish to participate in the show or to learn more please go to http://moullyart.com/sukkot-group-show-submission-opportunity/
The Creative Soul will be offering children’s art classes during the day on Choel Hamoed, to find out more about the art classes please Call or email Davora Lilian at 203 257 7142 [email protected].
The Sukkos show is a reflection of the creative and artistic talent and passion that exists in the Orthodox/Chassidic community. We look forward to sharing and engaging with the community. If you have any questions about the show please email [email protected].
Children’s Art Classes will be offered at 11am, 2pm & 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and on request on Friday.
