A generous donor has sponsored 100 copies of the book Parsha Poems, which has been distributed to 100 shluchim with the help of JLI and Chabad on Campus.
Parsha Poems, written by Chana Nesenoff (nee Engel), features a beautifully written poem for each week’s parsha based upon the teachings of the Rebbe. The poems are short, easy to read and geared for adults and families to enjoy.
These 100 JLI and Chabad on Campus shluchim who have received the book have already been gaining from and educating others with the lessons contained within Parsha Poems.
“I absolutely loved the book. We plan on using it to go through the parsha with our students,” said Rabbi Didy Waks of Chabad of Clinton. “I really look forward to using these beautiful poems to engage students in Torah conversations and living with the parsha. I look forward to gifting these to students in the future as well,” said Miri Gourarie from Chabad at Penn State.
Community shluchim have also enjoyed the book’s many qualities and uses. Rabbi Dovid Flinkenstein of Chabad of Wilmette said, “The deep and reflective poems are so down to earth, easy to read and relatable. Each poem is a gem!” “A great book to share with your community and donors,” said Rabbi Shalom Ber Cohen of Village Chabad in Long Island.
Parsha Poems is a beautifully illustrated and creatively written hardcover book featuring a poem based on the Rebbe’s teachings for each week’s parsha. It has accolades from dozens and dozens of shluchim as well as Joseph Telushkin, Shais Taub, Tzvi Freeman and George Rohr.
