Zelda: The Rebbe’s Cousin

The yahrtzeit of poet Zelda Schneurson Mishkovsky, first cousin of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, is on the 27th of Nissan. Her poetry, for which she received the Bialik and Brenner Prizes in literature, speaks of death and darkness but also of renewal and transcendence. Full Story

Thank you to Baila Olidort for noting this unknown relative of the Rebbe. I would like to see more of her poetry and the letters the Rebbe wrote to her if it is available.

There was a whole article about her and her poems, they were so inspiring, it might be worth to buy the book she wrote.
