The second annual Rambam Siyum was held today in Tannersville, NY, with esteemed guest speakers, including the Bostoner Rebbe of Flatbush, Rabbi Hershel Schachter– Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva University, and Rabbi Mordechai Stern, Rov of Bais Menachem in Tannersville.
Words of greeting and bracha were shared by the host, Rabbi Aaron Mehlman, Rov of Congregation Ohav Shalom from NY, NY. The Siyum was dedicated לעילוי נשמת ישראל שלמה בן אברהם ארי׳ה, organized by Avraham and Shira Frank, and the Frank family.
R’ Aharon Frank was the misayem, with numerous others, who also completed three chapters of the Rambam’s Mishnah Torah daily, for the past year.
Other participants include those who completed one chapter of Mishnah Torah daily over a three year period, and also completed their study, the past Thursday. The Siyum also included those who studied Rambam’s Sefer Hamitzvos on a daily basis, for the past year.
The study of Rambam unifies all Jews, and its unified study by all Jews, shall surely help bring the Geulah Shlaima Bekarov.
