Tomorrow, at 6:30 am EST, the court case of Rebbetzin Nechama Dina Krinsky will take place, to determine whether or not she will have to go to prison.
In the following letter, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Raskin of London, UK calls for everyone’s support:

Re. Chabad of Vilnius, Rabbi and Mrs. Krinsky,
I’m well aware of the amazing work and mesiras nefesh of Rabbi Sholom Ber and Rebbetzin Nechama Dinah Krinsky. For 28 years, they have worked tirelessly for the benefit of the Jewish community in Lita.
Unfortunately, over the years funds were hard to come by and they fell behind in paying taxes. Now, Rebbetzin Nechama Dinah is being accused of intentional planning from the outset to default on taxes and is facing a possible prison sentence.
Please support this urgent cause. Please do all you can to help raise the funds so that b’ezras Hashem the legal fees and taxes debt can be paid so the threat of imprisonment is avoided.

I cannot believe that there are no Chabad gevirim who are willing to pay to free a Shlucha from jail. What is going on? I am sure the Rebbe would have made sure that the entire sum she owed would be paid overnight and that she would never have to suffer this terrible agmas nefesh. WHERE ARE YOU?
