Among the many Hakhel initiatives at Tomchei Temimim – Chovevei Torah, the Yeshiva took a groundbreaking step by arranging monthly Shabbatons, giving the Bochurim the ultimate Hakhel experience.
The Bochurim spent inspirational Shabosim in Kingston, NY, Binghamton, NY, Scotch Plains, NJ, Rhinebeck, NY, and a most amazing Shabbos in Jackson, NJ with Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin.
The Shabbatons bring the unity among the Bochurim to the next level, strengthening even more the “One big happy family” atmosphere the Yeshiva is known for. As well as a great opportunity for the Hanholo, Mashpiim and Shluchim to spend quality time with the Talmidim.
This costly project is made possible by generous donors and thanks to the arrangement between Yeshiva and Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad, giving them the Beis Medrash for Shabbos, in exchange for them covering a large portion of the Sharbaton costs.
