Kehila 55, as the Young Anash Shul of Toronto has become known, held its first annual Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen led by Rabbi Levi Jacobson in Thornhill, Ontario.
The event started off with a minyan for maarive and continue with a seuda fit for a king. Rabbi Dov Herman made the opening remarks and started off the farbrengen. Niggunim were sung, lechaims were poured and all of the 100+ participants were drawn into an inspiring and meaningful evening by the talented and sincere Rabbi Jacobson.
The farbrengen also marked the first event planned by the newly-elected management board of K55 and was very well received by all. No doubt that this is only a continuation of its amazing accomplishments and a preview of further things to come from this fledgling community Shul that has quickly become the talk of the town as it strives to cater to the often overlooked needs of the Young Anash of Toronto through innovative and exciting programs and events.
Kehila 55, may you grow from strength to strength and may you be matzliach ad bli dai!
