The Chabad Young Professionals “Encounter: Crown Heights Shabbaton” is going full force with 550 participants from nearly 100 communities around the world filling the streets of Crown Heights.
Throughout the day, the young professionals had a chance to experience Judaism on a whole new level by visiting various Crown Heights landmarks. They explored fundamental themes of creating a Jewish home and Family Purity at the Mikvah tour led by Mrs. Dina Rosenfeld. Afterward, they visited 770, the Rebbe’s library, and enjoyed some of Crown Heights’ finest restaurants.
Tonight the families of Crown Heights are generously opening their homes to share the beauty of an authentic Shabbos experience with the young professionals, giving them a taste of Jewish family life. The meals will be followed by the Met@Chabad event, the uniquely designed singles event centered on values and marriage.
The CYP Shabbaton is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these young professionals to be immersed in their Jewish heritage. Together with their Shluchim and communities, they are enjoying a transformative program like no other in the heart of Crown Heights.
