Two Grad rockets were fired at Be’er Sheva on Wednesday evening, with one of the rockets hitting a house in a residential neighborhood.
Six adults and four children were taken to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva after suffering from trauma following the explosion, the hospital spokeswoman said.
This marked the first time the Israel’s Negev city was hit since the Gaza war in 2009. It follows a steady trend of escalation of terrorism in Gaza.

“What’s that?” one of the bochurim is heard saying in fear, as he and his classmates rush to take shelter.

On Thursday Israel warned terrorists in the Gaza Strip not to “test” the Jewish state, as fighter jets pounded targets across the coastal enclave in reaction to the Palestinian rocket attack.
“I don’t suggest anyone test the determination of the state of Israel,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu firmly said.
“We are determined to defend our citizens and will not accept anyone bombing our people and our civilians.”
Netanyahu said he had ordered the military “to respond with force and they did that immediately on a wide scale.”
The IDF targeted several Hamas camps throughout Gaza and a terrorist squad in the northern Gaza Strip, in the same location where rockets were fired.
