Over 450 guests enjoyed a summer soiree in Brooklyn benefiting the Yaldei Shluchei HaRebbe organization which assists Chabad Shluchim who are raising children with special needs.
A lively and elegant atmosphere coupled with delicious off-the-grill BBQ menu and an exquisite bar was on hand for supporters of Yaldei during its annual and popular “BBQ in Brooklyn” fundraiser.
Yaldei, a division of Merkos Suite 302, is an organization dedicated to supporting the families of shluchim who are raising children with special needs. With a plethora of services, programs and scholarship funds, Yaldei has grown into an incredible organization servicing over 250 shluchim families worldwide.
The BBQ served as an opportunity to not only bring people together for an evening of fun, but also to showcase and share the message of Yaldei with many who were not aware of the incredible work the organization does for Shluchim.
Rabbi Dovid Leib Shur, Director of Yaldei, opened the event, thanking participants for supporting the organization and its vital programs.
Entertainment for the evening was a special concert with world-renowned singer Mordechai Ben David.
