A terrible tragedy struck the Boro Park community on Tuesday, when a young child drowned during a trip to a water park in New Jersey.
Tzvi (Hersh) Elimelech Yechiel Michel Grossman Z”L (son of R’ Moshe and Mrs Shaindel), 9-years-old, was on a camp trip with the Belzer Talmud Torah to the Sahara Sam Water Park in West Berlin, NJ, where the tragedy occurred at around 7:30PM. The park had been rented out, and there were multiple camps at the park (Vien, Pupa and others).
Emergency personnel did everything they could to save his life, but he was unfortunately Niftar.
Misaskim of Philadelphia, Lakewood, and NY are working closely with law enforcement to ensure proper Kavod Haniftar.
Law enforcement were keeping the other camps as well as all staff members at the scene (in their buses) as they determine how this tragedy happened.
The Levaya will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Belzer Bais Medrash at 18th Avenue and 51st Street.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
pls get every child back to school , these camps in America are a danger to lives !

No words … Moshiah Now
The three weeks..
A terrible tragedy struck the entire Jewish community on Tuesday…
Our hearts go out to the family and their immediate community.
Is Beis Chaya Mushka and other girls schools in Crown Heights cancelling tomorrow’s “6 Flags” trip as it is in the “3 Weeks”?
Do the Badatz of Crown Heights allow such trips in the 3 weeks?
it’s only in the 9 days that it says to refrain from doing something that can be dangerous. it doesn’t mention anything about the 2 weeks before the 9 days. don’t add on to halacha!
Incorrect.
Completely wrong. The same restrictions apply to both the first twelve days as well as the last “Nine Days”, the only difference being the latter involve more stringencies (i.e. no meat or wine during the week etc). Please go back and learn halacha before poskening in a public forum.
No words to calm our hearts… And the feel for the family…
Horrible! So heart breaking!
