In response to recent requests, The Beis Medrash in Crown Heights will be launching its Women’s Circle this Motzei Shabbos.
Many women, some wives of Beis Medrash regulars as well as others, are seeking their own establishment where they can support and enjoy each other in a warm, intimate, chassidishe atmosphere. And that’s how the idea of the WC was born.
“The idea is to create an organization based on the needs and wants of young women in our community. The best way to do that is to hear directly from the women joining the Circle,” the director Chanel Lipskier tells COLlive.com.
The Melava Malka will be structured to receive feedback from attendees on how best to direct this new initiative. Future plans include a weekly Caffeine for the Soul class on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am.
This Motzei Shabbos, doors of TBM will open at 8:30 pm for a hot milchig buffet sponsored in large part by Nachi Light of Pomodori Pizzeria in honor of the grand opening of their new store at 419 Kingston Ave.
Yael Hanover, known for her witty sense of humor, will supply the laughs and the women in attendance will supply the warm feeling of camaraderie that comes with starting something good in our community.
Join them at The Beis Medrash- 580 Crown Street, ground floor for an evening of good food and great friends. They want you there to launch the Women’s Circle and make this branch of The Beis Medrash superb!
No affiliation necessary– one’s husband need not attend TBM in order to join.
