The 67th Nshei Ubnos Chabad Convention, with the theme of “The time is now,” took place last weekend in Crown Heights, with women and girls gathering online and in-person for 3 days of learning and inspiration.
The Nshei Ubnos Chabad convention was very close to the Rebbe’s heart. The Rebbe established this organization to bring together women and young girls to strengthen Yiddishkeit and hasten the coming of Moshiach.
On Thursday evening, the Convention opened with a zoom event featuring Mrs. Fruma Schapiro from Australia. This was followed by Mrs. Gitty Rappaport with a cheese demonstration and insights into Shavuos.
Friday morning, programming continueed over zoom with Mrs. Sara Tova Best followed by an in-depth shiur on Pirkei Avos with Rabbi Gershon Avtzon.
Shabbos morning, the women gathered at 770 to recite Tehillim followed later at 12:30PM with a shiur by Ms. Miriam Overlander from London, England.
Shabbos afternoon a program at Oholei Menachem included speakers Mrs. Miryam Swerdlov, Rabbi Boruch Dovid (Dudu) Lider from Melbourne, Australia as well as Machon L’Yahadus representative, Ms. Rivka Bendetska from Ukraine, who shared powerful words. A musical performance was given by Mrs. Nava Pais and Ms. Sofa Geula Yoffe, followed by a beautiful Shalosh Seudos.
Festivities on motzei Shabbos were held on zoom, with Mrs. Chana Shoshana Goldstein, Russian representative Mrs. Chana Avtzon, and guest speaker Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld.
The Sunday morning program on zoom featured Mrs. Sara Tova Best followed by guest speakers Mrs. Shterna Ginsberg and Mrs. Menucha Majesky.
The main session was held downstairs at 770, as is done annually.
The inspiring program included Mrs. Miriam Friedfertig, followed by a reading of the Rebbe’s letter by Rabbi Shloma Majesky, and speakers Mrs. Chani Korf from Florida, Rabbi Dovid Dubov of Princeton, NJ, and Shlucha from Kiev, Ukraine, Mrs. Cherry Markowitz.
After watching a video of the Rebbe, participants had the zechus to go to the Rebbe’s room.

Lovely for people to get together to learn and share. What were the topics? Were the speakers recorded?
