A visibly Jewish woman was the victim of an anti-Semitic attack on Wednesday morning in Crown Heights.
The 33-year-old woman, who was dressed in traditional Chasidic attire, was walking on Eastern Parkway between Nostrand and Rogers Avenues when she was approached by a black male, approximately 40 years of age, police said.
The man, without prior interaction, approached the female and opened a bottle of juice, which he threw into the woman’s face.
The victim was not injured but was covered by the liquid.
After leaving the scene, the male stated “you people disgust me.” He then fled the location.
The victim called the 71st precinct to the scene.
NYPD Hate Crimes task force was notified and is investigating the incident. No suspects have been identified at this time, police said.
