Bais Rivkah School in Crown Heights is once again celebrating, having surpassed the fundraising goal of its annual campaign.
The flagship Chabad school for girls has surpassed its goal of $1 million, to raise an amazing $1.1 million dollars in 24 hours.
Working round the clock, student volunteers hit the phones and rallied parents, friends and supporters to donate to the school.
The results were incredible, the members of the Board told COLlive.com.
“The most amazing thing is that this year, an additional 1,200 donors participated over last year,” Board Member Dovid Junik told COLlive.com.
A total of 3,500 donors contributed to the fundraiser, most of them in small amounts.
“The success of the campaign shows the collective power and impact of every single donor, from large to small donations – each one makes a huge difference,” said Board Member Yerachmeal Jacobson.
The most amazing part of the campaign, they said, was seeing the incredible chayus and spirit of the girls, who were so excited to help the Rebbe’s moised, and the parents as well, who are filled with appreciation and hakaras hatov to the school.
“It is because of their hard work that the campaign was a success,” they said.
The Board also thanked the entire staff of RaiseThon, the platform which hosted and powered the campaign, for going “above and beyond in their efforts to run the campaign and ensure its success.”
Raisethon not only hosted the campaign, but worked hand in hand with Bais Rivkah, and provided copywriting and marketing material, a state-of-the-art web portal, and call center software.
They also thanked Sweet Expressions “for always being there for the school,” and for offering to give every High School student a free ice cream for their help, COLlive for the amazing coverage of the campaign, and Mrs. Mushka Deitsch for help with the production.
