Excitement is building in the homes of Young Shluchim as they prepare to spend a magical 10 days in the Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp in Lake Worth, FL.
Young Shluchim who live outside of Lubavitch communities look forward all year to the camp, which is a treasured opportunity to spend time in a warm, chassidishe, fun environment. The chance to spend quality time with like-minded friends – fellow Young Shluchim just like them – is something they don’t take for granted.
As one parent wrote after camp:
“Dear camp staff,
“Our three boys had a great experience in camp! For a first time away from home they had an unbelievable time!
“They came home with great chayos! We have only good things to say about the staff, activities, food, safety etc..
“Plus a big thank you to the staff and counselors who helped us in making sure Mendel was ok.
“Thank you very much for giving our children such a nice opportunity to be with other shluchim!
“Is it possible to get a list of the children and phone numbers so that they can keep in touch!”
At The Shluchim Office, which organizes the camp, preparations are well underway, and they are pleased to announce the Head Staff for the boys division:
Boruch Ceitlin of Montreal, Canada
Mendel Goldman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Both are chassidishe and talented Head Counselors with several years of experience, and they will be operating under camp director Rabbi Berel Bendet. They have been hard at work for several weeks, planning and organizing an amazing program for the Young Shluchim.
