This picture was taken on Chai Elul Lamed Tes (5739). The Rebbe had asked Reb Yoel to handle a photographer who kept on taking pictures, and ensure that he learns at least a few lines of Tanya. The Rebbe removed the booklet of Igeres Hatshuvah from his Siddur and asked Reb Yoel and asked him to give it to him to learn from.
