Machon Smicha
Machon Smicha is the premier online institute for Halachah and Shulchan Aruch education. Offering structured halachah courses to students across the world, Machon Smicha’s mission is to empower people to achieve their goal of receiving Smicha. With a strong emphasis on clarity, depth, and real-life application, the program has helped over 1,000 students receive Smicha.
As part of its mission to make learning practical, Machon Smicha is hosting an in-person Yom Iyun — a Halachah symposium for the broader community. This event is a unique opportunity to experience the depth and relevance of halachah in a dynamic, real-world setting.
The event will feature panels and discussions exploring practical halachic questions and how Torah guidance applies to contemporary life.
Prominent Rabbonim participating include Rabbi Yosef Braun, Rabbi Moshe Kesselman, Rabbi Mendel Prescott, Rabbi Tuvia Kasimov, Rabbi Avi Zakutinsky, Rabbi Dovid Grossman and others.
The event is on Wednesday, June 25 (29 Sivan) at Ulam Chana Hall, 556 Crown Street, Brooklyn. The event will run from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The program is open to both men and women. Lunch will be served. All are encouraged to attend. No registration required.
