Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida:
With overflowing joy and deep gratitude to Hashem, we are thrilled to share the beautiful simcha of the marriage of Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, beloved Shliach of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, to Shani Silver.
The magical chuppah took place in Mequon, Wisconsin, surrounded by family, friends, and a community filled with love and excitement. The celebration was graced by the presence of the Maimon, Silver, and Minkowicz families, along with a strong showing from the local Mequon community and a large, enthusiastic delegation from Minkowicz’s community in Fort Myers.
Also in attendance was Rabbi Fishel Zaklos, Shliach to Naples, Florida, whose presence added to the simcha. The ceremony began with the heartfelt reading of a letter from the Rebbe, beautifully delivered by Rabbi Yisroel Shmotkin, Head Shliach of Wisconsin.
The chuppah was officiated by Rabbi Dovid Rapoport, senior Shliach in Mequon, and included blessings from several prominent Shluchim across Wisconsin. A particularly moving moment was the final Sheva Brachah, recited by Rabbi Hirsh Minkowicz, Shliach in Alpharetta, Georgia, the groom’s brother.
Following the wedding, the couple returned to Southwest Florida, where they are continuing their Shlichus with renewed energy and love. Just days after the wedding, they hosted a beautiful, full-house Friday night Shabbat dinner for the community, setting the tone for the exciting year ahead!
As the Yomim Noraim approach, Shani Minkowicz is already planning a massive PreRosh Hashanah Challah Bake, sure to bring inspiration, unity, and spiritual preparation to women across the region.
We wish Rabbi Yitzchok and Shani a life overflowing with brachos, simcha, nachas, and incredible success in their holy mission. May their home be a shining beacon of Torah, Ahavas Yisroel, and light to all who enter.
Mazel Tov!
