Rabbi Akiva Wagner, a beloved Rosh Yeshiva for many years who has influenced many hundreds of students, has been diagnosed with an illness. Many are reciting Tehillim and adding in prayers for the recovery of Akiva Gershon ben Rochel Basya.
On Tuesday, Bochurim in 35 Yeshivas around the world gathered to learn in the merit of his recovery.
Wishing Rabbi Wagner a refuah sheleima. These words have entered my heart and given me chizuk in my own personal challenges. I can feel the warmth and sincerity in his words. The Wagner family should know besides teves and see revealed nissim very soon.

What a humble genuine man this is.
I don’t know him personally.
But, reading his body language, I can see his pureness and beauty as a true gentleman.
His dedication to his students is sublime.
Reminding myself as I was an older teenager is situations like this. We naturally think perhaps over think things. And build up scenarios that shouldn’t be. Needless to say this Rabbi sees it too, coming in public to relax his students mentally psychologically and emotionally focusing those attention to the spiritual.
May the Rabbi have a full quick and complete recovery.
A tatty who had boys in his Zale and who stayed on many years after my boys left. Many out-of-town bus trips with zale and Rabbi Wagner seeing firsthand Rabbi Wagner living the words of his teachings from his head to his toes being a chosid! May the reward of his amazing positive affect on the boys in zale over many years come to him with merits of a full and speedy recovery NOW!!!!!
