Just asked my kids what they think is most beautiful about sukkot in israel! (Not eating ice cream!) now I know what story to tell them ! May we all be able to seat many many but never lose focus!!!! Keep talking my dear teacher and friend!! (Ssc)

I love that story… it’s so special how with a sukkah that can seat 60 (!!!) comfortably, you still have your head straight – and keep in mind the important things

I remember being a guest in Miryam’s sukkah around 30 years ago as a newcomer in CH. Thank you, Swerdlows…. for opening your home, hearts & sukkah to us.
(I even remember the fish course!)

Thank you again for your words. I look forward to hearing from you whenever you post and stop everything when you do. I would add to what you said that even though your sukkah may ‘only’ hold 60 people, I am certain that your walls, as do all of our sukkah walls, expand to hold as many people as need a place to eat during the beautiful holiday. I will remember your story and retell it in my sukkah.
