Rabbi Mendel Hager, one of the two successors of the late Vizhnitzer Rebbe “Yeshuos Moshe,” visited Lubavitch Headquarters – 770 Eastern Parkway, late Monday evening.
The Vizhnitzer Rebbe, who lives in Bnei Brak, Israel and is visiting the United States for a couple of weeks, is lodging in Crown Heights at a home on Eastern Parkway.
At 2:30 am, the Vizhnitzer Rebbe and his close trusted Gaboyim Rabbi Chaim Mayer Markowitz and Rabbi Mayer Dovid Tabak, toured 770’s main Shul, the upstairs Shul and the Rebbe’s room accompanied by Crown Heights activist Eli Slavin.
The Vizhnitzer Rebbe listened in during a farbrengen that was taking place in honor of Chof Cheshvan with Mashpia Rabbi Shloime Zarchi. He also told bystanders about his experience davening Mincha with the Lubavitcher Rebbe some years ago.
