My father OBM was born in Vaisrusland (Belarus) in the town of Slutk. I imagine it to not have been much different from Lubavitch. I am fortunate to be able to daven at a Chabad. Thank you for posting the pictures. Yoely
memories of riding a bus for 4 days w/o bathroom and only pesach food, 10 hours at the border, walking in the mud and freezing mikvah in the river … but it was all worth it…
My father was born in Lubavitch. Seems like it hasn’t changed in 90+ years. A shtetel!!
