What about babies who aren’t on schedule to be vaccinated until 12-15 months? Is everyone supposed to carry around their vaccination records?

MANY non Jews are also anti-vaxxers. I’m concerned (regardless of the actual issue at hand of vaccines) but that this is the seed of another “jews Cause disease” propaganda. Why are they picking on the orthodox Jewish community? Go to ANYWHERE and talk to anti vaxxers, MANY if not MOST aren’t Jewish! This is so scary! Leave it to the Media….

some found very cute to have chicken pox. If a pregnant woman gets it from an unvaccinated children because of this anti vax lunacy, no natural juice will help the huge chances of a deformed child or worse chas ve shalom

People should stop being selfish and vaccinate, and stop posing a danger to others.

Where do you see anything here about this being targeted at Jews? “Anyone who is under 18 years of age and unvaccinated against the measles,” Jewish or otherwise, is subject to these rules.

People who are unvaccinated and without a medical exemption should stay home. It’s incredibly selfish to endanger so many people with their own crazy conspiracy theories. The Rebbe and the medical community say exactly the same thing about vaccines.

Just go and get your kids vaccinated, stop putting other kids in danger, what is the big deal

There are a much larger populations of non Jewish or non orthodox Jews – those who identify with the vegan and environmental cultures – that don’t vaccinate. This does smack of predictable anti semitism.

    medical marshall law?"

Why do they not acknowledge the toxic unnecessary additives in the vaccines? Also, why do they not worry about the migrants coming into the USA, who certainly aren’t being
vaccinated against anything and may have medical issues/
This link proclaims this move by Rockland County is a type
of medical marshall law. Very interesting,

For the past few months the media has been non stop covering this “outbreak” we get it there’s pressure from a lot of people to vaccinate all these children who aren’t vaccinated. For parents who researched the mmr vaccine and decided against it KNOW your rights in NY state you have the right to use a religious exemption and opt out. “The prohibition on unvaccinated minors in schools, churches, malls, and other outdoor spaces is aimed at protecting vulnerable kids from the highly contagious disease and at *motivating* parents to get their children the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. Health… Read more »

And sad….how can anyone ‘force’ someone to endanger their child for the sake of ‘saving’ another. And stop shlepping the Rebbe into this. He clearly said to choose good companies and be familiar with the ingredients…for some reason the anti vacxers are familiar with them. How many of the pro are actually well informed with the ingredients? Hardly any because those that did became anti. How many pro understand all the dynamics of the companies/researchers? Hardly any cuz those that did the research became anti. And believe me…they were all pro just like you, when they were uneducated. So stop… Read more »

    concerned parent. the rebbes letters

In answer to your letter from erev shabbos kodesh where you ask me about the shots that they do now to small kids, how should he act? In this case it says do not separate yourself from the community, and you shall act how most of the class in your childs school do, and god will help you raise all your kids to torah chupa and good deeds in abundance. 2 that I just got your letter and the one before that and I’m rushing to answer you ahead of the others in line before you! Even the letters that… Read more »

Ill have to disagree with you. I turned anti for a few months after getting sucked into all the anti-vax claims. However, I also chose to honestly look at both sides instead of just being scared of everything I was reading. And yes, I do know the ingredients. And yes, I have researched it all. I chose to start vaccinating again. Dont assume that pro-vaxxers are ignorant.

I have no chiyuv to inject my childs body with toxins to supposedly, theoretically, perhaps, hypothetically, prevent your child from an illness. regarding Ed Day and Rockland County ban: when will the yidden wake up and smell the coffee. this has zero to do with vaccines, and just an opportunity for Ed Day to shine his known anti semitism. there are 4 current active measels cases in Rockland, from what I heard. why this? why now? besides for not legal, it’s just an opportunity to bashmutz the yidden to the media. Mission accomplished . blame the Jews. (because there is… Read more »

Which is the better of the bad lot?

If you don’t vax, there is an outbreak of the diseases that vaccines are suppose to prevent. If you do vax, there is anecdotal testimony that children got sick afterwards. So, let’s answer this question: Is it better to have a massive outbreak if you don’t vax or the possible outcome if you do vax?

You obviously did not read the Rebbes letter. He says to do what the majority of your community does. Vaccinate . Ask reliable Drs. Every Dr in CH has spoken very clearly the importance of vaccinating. What chutzpah implying all of us who protected our kids and our community don’t care about hurting our own kids As a great grandmother who has been in chinuch for decades, I am more educated than any anti vaxxer who makes harmful decisions by reading garbage on the internet

Stop it. Just stop it. There is not a single verified study that suggests vaccinations are dangerous for a child without a rare condition of some kind. Even studies done by anti-vaxxers have revealed that vaccinations are safe. This is ridiculous. You are listening to a movement started by a celebrity shill with absolutely NO medical knowledge and a “doctor” who had his medical license revoked for fudging numbers and twisting a study that was invalid in the first place. The entire medical community has a unanimous consensus that vaccines save lives and are safe. Your ignorance is causing others… Read more »

    Anti-Vaxxers are Anti-Semitic

If you don’t vaccinate, you aren’t just putting your child at risk you are putting your entire community in danger. Anyone that can hold of this position without any scientific rationale can only be explained at by being Anti-Semitic and someone that wants to hurt their community. The ignorance, the danger, and the Chillul Hashem that the frum communities are causing by joining this liberal goofy movement is embarrassing which would be bad enough if you weren’t also potentially hurting people you love and care about. If you need a movement to join that is conspiracy theory that doesn’t hurt… Read more »

    Okay, let's compare

Let’s say, for argument sake, that the vaccines do cause autism. The rate of autism is now at 3% (see: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-prevalence-of-autism-in-the-u-s-appears-steady/). This means 1 out of 30! This means that, nationwide (out of 23 million children under 5) 690,000 have autism. What would be the number of negative consequences of not vaccinating? Which is worse; autism or what happens if you don’t vaccinate?
